Tucci Goka Ivowi is a distinguished business leader, strategist, and communicator, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer and founding member of the Ghana Commodity Exchange. With a professional journey spanning over 20 years across the UK, Southeast Asia, and Sub-Saharan Africa, Tucci is a specialist in strategy, innovation, communications, and business transformation. Tucci holds the position of CEO at the Ghana Commodity Exchange since August 2020, where she has been instrumental in leading the organization to new heights. Prior to this role, she served as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer from 2018 to July 2020, showcasing her leadership skills and strategic acumen.


Her extensive corporate experience includes a notable tenure at Nestlé, where she spent 15 years in various roles. She served as the Business Executive Officer and Communication Director for Central & West Africa from January 2015 to March 2018. Tucci also held the position of General Manager in Guinea and Vice President Marketing Manager for Coffee in Indonesia during her tenure with Nestlé.


Tucci's academic background is equally impressive. She earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School in 2015. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours (B.A. Hons) in Political Science and French from the University of Sussex, awarded in 2000.


A thought leader and contributor, Tucci Ivowi is a published author, having contributed to the Harvard Business Review Press's 'Women at Work' series. Her book, titled 'Thriving in a Male Dominated Workplace,' reflects her commitment to equity and empowerment in the professional sphere. Tucci is recognized for her outstanding contributions, as evidenced by her induction into the Corporate Ghana Hall of Fame in February 2021. She also received the CNBC Rising Woman Africa award in July 2021, a testament to her visionary leadership and resilience, especially during challenging times.


Outside of her corporate endeavors, Tucci engages in volunteer work, contributing her skills and time to causes related to health, human rights, and education. She is associated with organizations like the Executive Women Network and the Chartered Institute of Marketing UK. As the creator of SMARTER Leadership ™️, Tucci Goka Ivowi continues to inspire and lead, leaving an indelible mark on the corporate landscape and contributing significantly to the development of Ghana.
