Meet Patricia Obo-Nai, a trailblazing leader with over two decades of experience in the telecommunications industry. Her journey from humble beginnings to becoming the CEO of Ghana Telecommunications Company Limited (Telecel Ghana) is nothing short of inspiring. Patricia's passion for technology and her unwavering commitment to excellence have been evident throughout her career. After completing her education at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, where she earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, she embarked on a remarkable professional journey.


She honed her skills at Millicom Ghana Limited before joining Vodafone Ghana, where she held various key positions, including Chief Technology Officer and Director for Fixed Business and Customer Operations. In 2019, she made history as the first Ghanaian to be appointed CEO of Vodafone Ghana, a testament to her exceptional leadership and expertise in the field.


But Patricia's influence extends beyond her corporate role. She is a staunch advocate for promoting girls in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Through her work with various institutions and social bodies, she is dedicated to empowering girls to thrive in an increasingly digital world.


Her commitment to excellence has earned her numerous accolades, including the Telecom CEO of the Year at the Ghana Information Technology and Telecom Awards (GITTA) and the Ghana Women of Excellence Awards. She has also been recognized as one of the top 50 Most Influential Female Leaders in Africa by Leading Ladies Africa.


Beyond her professional achievements, Patricia is deeply engaged in community service and serves on several advisory boards, including the West African STEM Hub and the Global Young Academy.
