As the leader of MAichatron, Nonjabulo has orchestrated a strategic plan aligning with the organization's goals, positioning it as a multi-award-winning tech and engineering company. Her expertise extends to the FMCG, mining, and utility sectors in Africa, where she has played a pivotal role in driving innovation and turnkey solutions. Her leadership has been instrumental in winning accolades such as the iBelong Excellence Awards by Transnet for Operations Efficiency, recognizing MAichatron's groundbreaking work in automating the Durban Port through IoT technologies.

Passionate about promoting women in engineering, Nonjabulo Gumede has garnered recognition as one of the top fifty inspiring tech women in South Africa by the Dutch-based initiative CoCreate. She has also been acknowledged as a WEF Durban Global Shaper and is a Swiss Venture Leader Alumni.
