Honourable Rochelle Ivri stands as one of Canada's nine Citizenship Judges and holds the distinguished positions of Professor and Paralegal at Mohawk College. A prominent legal professional, she earned her degree in Criminology from the University of Windsor and a post-graduate certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution from York University. Furthermore, Judge Rochelle Ivri is a co-author of the textbook "Tribunal Practice and Procedure" published by Emond Publishing. Her extensive service extends beyond the courtroom, having served on the Niagara-on-the-Lake Public Library Board, the Council of the College of Midwives of Ontario, and the Discipline, Appeal, and Review Committee of the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council.


In 2021, Judge Rochelle Ivri made history by becoming the first paralegal to receive the prestigious Lincoln Alexander Award from the Law Society of Ontario, recognizing her outstanding commitment to public service. As a Citizenship Judge, Professor, and author, Judge Rochelle Ivri continues to make a lasting impact on the legal landscape.


Her dedication to human rights, the Charter, and fostering good citizenship exemplifies her commitment to community service. Judge Rochelle Ivri 's passion extends to education, where she has been teaching at Mohawk College since 2015, contributing significantly to the Tribunal Practice and Procedure course.


In addition to her roles, Judge Rochelle Ivri serves as Adjunct Faculty in the Queen's Law Graduate Diploma Program in Immigration and Citizenship Law. As a licensed Paralegal and Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant, she brings a wealth of experience to her roles, specializing in case management and adjudication. Her journey is marked by milestones, including being a Board Member of the Town of Niagara on the Lake-Public Library Board, a Committee Member in the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council, and a Council Member of the College of Midwives of Ontario.
