Her tenure as Deputy Minister of Transport under the leadership of John Mahama showcased her ability to navigate complex challenges and drive impactful change within the transportation sector.

From donating essential supplies to orphanages to providing sanitary pads to underprivileged students, Joyce's philanthropic efforts reflect her unwavering dedication to uplifting those in need.


In the realm of politics, Joyce's contributions to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have been invaluable. Serving as a spokesperson for President John Mahama's presidential campaign and later as his special aide, Joyce played a pivotal role in shaping the party's messaging and strategy.


Her leadership and advocacy have not gone unnoticed, earning her accolades such as the NExA2024 'Most Outstanding Northern Woman of the Year' and recognition as a trailblazer for young women in politics. Joyce's impact transcends borders, as evidenced by her fellowship with the USA-International Visitor Leadership Programme and her membership in prestigious international organizations such as the Women in International Shipping and Trade Association (WISTA).
