Grace Anne “INDLOVUKAZI” | Zimbabwe | Opportunity Meets Preparedness

Talk Show Host | Entrepreneur | CEO - Own Your Dream Foundation My name is Grace Anne (Ndlovu). I am a driven young lady from Zimbabwe. My calling is to help young people in Africa to find their purpose on earth just like I did. Young adults are in a time of their life when many questions, ideas and insecurities emerge. I experienced a similar thing - finding my purpose in life. Young adults can either feel completely lost and unsure what to do. I am a social entrepreneur, a leader, coach and multi-tasker as some might say. I have always had a sequence that I follow. I go according to my own principles I set for myself. First, is “change”, by change I mean being the difference maker in my community. Therefore, I started my initiative called Own Your Dream Foundation. This initiative is all about training young people to be the best version of their dreams. My second principle is “strategic partnerships”, and I have achieved this by being brand ambassador for different companies and organizations that include Prince and Princess Jewelry, Inyathi Magazine and several more. These opportunities have helped in a way to support my foundation financially and living my dream.

What were the biggest initial hurdles and how did you overcome them? The biggest hurdles I have faced and still face is my age, before people hear of what I bring to the table - I get judged. By God’s grace, the content I carry helps me to be accepted by superiors.

What books are you currently reading? I'm currently reading “ The psychology of Money '' by Morgan Housel . A brilliant, eye opening masterpiece.

What advice would you give to an upcoming youth or talents locally and internationally? My advice would be : Opportunity meets preparedness, you won't get opportunities if you aren't prepared for them. Therefore, START NOW!
