Originally from Ghana, he embarked on his career path with a deep-seated love for sports and storytelling. His professional odyssey began at Radio Xtacy 94.5 FM in Kumasi, Ghana, where he honed his skills in writing, presentation, production, and editing. Over the years, he traversed various roles, from Sports Producer to Sports Reporter, anchoring the evening sports news bulletin and contributing to the growth of a burgeoning sports website. He was the official global commentator for the recently concluded African Games in Accra, with his commentary heard in 22 African countries. His commentary in swimming and athletics, in particular, gathered rave reviews, distinguishing him as one of the leading voices of athletics commentary on the continent.
Fentuo's quest for excellence led him to EIB Network's Ultimate FM, where he served as a Sports Journalist/Broadcaster. His exceptional work ethic and leadership qualities propelled him to the role of Sports Editor, overseeing sports coverage across multiple radio stations and online platforms. Under his guidance, Ultimate FM executed successful projects for major sporting events like the World Cup and AFCON, solidifying its presence in the sports broadcasting arena.
In 2017, Fentuo joined Citi 97.3 FM, where he continued to make waves in the industry. As a Sports Journalist, he elevated the station's flagship sports show, Sports Panorama, and became a prominent voice in the English Premier League radio broadcast. His extensive coverage of national football and athletics events garnered international recognition, with features in renowned platforms such as the BBC, IAAF, and Time Magazine.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Fentuo is a proud alumnus of Elon University and the University of Ghana, where he earned dual Bachelor's degrees in English and Psychology. His academic journey was enriched by study abroad experiences at Elon University, where he immersed himself in diverse cultural exchanges and represented the International Pavilion as a Learning Community representative.
