Armed with determination and an insatiable thirst for knowledge, he honed his skills at prestigious institutions like Swarthmore College and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), earning degrees in Engineering, Economics, and Computer Science.
But Paul's journey was not merely academic; it was a quest to harness the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for the betterment of society. With each milestone, he delved deeper into the realm of AI, mastering everything from Large Language Models (LLM) to Machine Translation and Text-to-Speech technologies.
Driven by a desire to bridge linguistic divides, Paul and his team embarked on a groundbreaking mission to develop the world's first Twi language generation system. Twi, a language spoken by millions in Ghana, held the key to unlocking a world of possibilities. Through tireless dedication and ingenuity, they created a tool that could seamlessly translate foreign languages into high-quality Twi, opening doors to communication and understanding.
But Paul's vision extended far beyond language alone. With a keen understanding of AI's potential, he founded Algorine, a research lab dedicated to advancing AI and Machine Learning for high social impact applications.
