Meet Chef David Kirschner, the visionary Founder & CEO of dineDK Private Dining, a culinary maestro born and raised in Marlboro, New Jersey. David's culinary journey began with a profound connection to food, visiting local farm markets, and cherishing family moments around the dinner table—a foundation that would shape his gastronomic future. After an enlightening internship at Per Se in NYC, David earned a B.S. in Culinary Nutrition at Johnson & Wales, setting the stage for his culinary adventures. Joining forces with Michael Mina, he assumed the role of Chef de Partie to open SeaBlue at the Borgata in Atlantic City, marking the start of a remarkable career.
His culinary prowess continued to flourish as he collaborated on restaurant openings with The Mina Group and earned a James Beard nomination for "Best New Restaurant in America" at Daryl Wine Bar in New Brunswick, NJ. The excitement for private dining took flight during his tenure at Bar Boulud, where David played a pivotal role as Private Dining Chef.
In 2012, David joined Tasting Table, where he ran their private dining loft in Soho, refining his market-inspired cuisine and conceptualizing events. This experience laid the groundwork for dineDK, founded in 2015—a boutique private dining company crafting custom culinary experiences and offering private chef placement services.
David's vision for dineDK extended beyond creating memorable experiences; it sought to empower chefs and provide them with flexibility. The platform became a haven for talented chefs to thrive, learn, and collaborate, restoring balance to their lives. Today, dineDK works with chefs nationwide, providing them with opportunities to showcase their craft in flexible, client-centric settings.
