Actress | Business Owner - Entrepreneur My name is Angel Pooe from South Africa. I am a television and theatre actress and entrepreneur. And also I am the founder of Angel Pooe Foundation, under which I have a progressive football(soccer) club that aims to transform communities through recreational activities and education. The foundation has kindergartens up to under 18 first teams. It was through this club participation that a realization was made of the impact of soccer on children and how it can be used as an entry point to change the lives of many children in South Africa.
What were the biggest initial hurdles and how did you overcome them? My initial hurdle had to do with - implementing my awesome idea, because I did not know how to start. Even though I had ambitions. We live in a world where everything is at our fingertips. All the information I needed back then was all on the internet and also connecting with likeminded individuals.
Your advice to an upcoming youth or talents locally and internationally? My advice to the younger ones, don’t just dream about it, put it all to action, seek advice and implement.
