Victoria Kitcher | Ghana | Compassionate World

Founder - Vicky Kitcher Foundation | Advocate | Entrepreneur

Victoria Kitcher, affectionately known as Vicky Billions, embodies a spirit of compassion and ambition that transcends boundaries. Rooted in the teachings of her grandmother, who instilled in her the values of love and kindness, Vicky's journey unfolds against the vibrant backdrop of Labadi, Ghana. Driven by an unwavering commitment to humanity, Vicky established the Vicky Kitcher Foundation, an NGO dedicated to extending a helping hand to the most vulnerable members of society. With a heart brimming with empathy, she spearheads initiatives such as feeding over 500 children and homeless individuals on the streets of Accra, a testament to her boundless generosity and unwavering dedication to uplifting others. But Victoria knew that the journey didn't end there. There was a new chapter waiting to unfold—a chapter of Mental Health Magic. With a twinkle in her eye and a passion in her heart, she extended an invitation to all who would listen, urging them to embark on a journey to mend hearts and minds. In this new adventure, Victoria envisioned a world where access to mental health services was not a luxury but a right. Through the Mental Health program of her foundation, she aimed to provide free, in-school counseling and group therapy sessions for adolescents, offering them a safe space to heal and grow. But Victoria knew that true change went beyond just providing services. It required breaking down barriers and reducing stigma. That's why she also introduced a mental health curriculum, designed to raise awareness and foster understanding among teachers, community leaders, and healers alike.

With unwavering determination, Victoria set out to achieve her project goals. She forged partnerships with local schools, recruited a team of dedicated mental health professionals and volunteers, and tailored counseling sessions to meet the unique needs of each participant. But perhaps the most important aspect of Victoria's journey was the community she built along the way. Through open dialogue and peer support, she created a supportive environment where adolescents facing mental health challenges could find solace and strength. "Today, I extend an invitation to a new chapter: Mental Health Magic. Let's embark on a journey to mend hearts and minds. Your support is our catalyst, and together, we'll orchestrate a symphony of change! #VKFJourney #HeartfeltChange"

Program Description: "Our Mental Health program aims to enhance access to mental health services for adolescents through free, in-school counseling and group therapy sessions. Additionally, we will introduce a mental health curriculum to foster awareness and diminish stigma. Training will be provided to teachers, community leaders, as well as traditional and religious healers to equip them with essential skills in identifying, referring, and supporting individuals with common mental health issues within their communities."

Beyond her philanthropic endeavors, Vicky's star shines brightly in the realms of modeling and acting. From her humble beginnings at Alpha Production to gracing the runways of Exopa Modeling Agency, she has emerged as a formidable force in the African entertainment industry.

Fueled by her passion for both professions, Vicky envisions herself as a luminary, poised to leave an indelible mark on the continent's cultural landscape.

A multifaceted talent, Vicky finds solace in the depths of swimming, the enchantment of movies, and the simple joy of solitude. Her academic pursuits at the Holy Trinity Cathedral Senior High School in Accra and the Ghana Institute of Journalism, coupled with her training at Insite Media College, have equipped her with the tools to excel in her chosen fields.

With every stride she takes on the runway and every role she embodies on screen, Vicky Kitcher illuminates the path for others to follow, a beacon of hope and inspiration for a brighter, more compassionate world.
