Enter AltGrocery.ca, his latest brainchild. Born out of a pressing need for more affordable and local grocery options, AltGrocery.ca connects Canadians with indie grocers in their areas. Launching in the midst of a nationwide shift away from large chains, Tom and his team tackled the challenge head-on. Despite the pressure of rapid growth and technical hiccups, their innovative approach and community-driven model quickly attracted attention, with the platform drawing in over 100K visitors in its first week.
