My name is Ruth Morgan, I am from Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. I am a University of Uyo graduate with a degree in Medical Microbiology and Bacteriology. I'm married with 3 lovely children that I adore so much. I am a professional teacher, a Fashionpreneur and I am an affiliate marketer. Affiliate marketing involves earning a commission by promoting a product or service made by another retailer. It is a monetization model where an affiliate partner, which is you, is rewarded a payout for providing a specific result to the retailer or advertiser.
What were the biggest initial hurdles and how did you overcome them?
As an entrepreneur, one of the hurdles I faced in the beginning when I first started was self doubts. I was always afraid of failure. Asking myself, "What if I start and I am not able to make it like others? What if this doesn't work out for me? Does the market have a gap for me? These were my fears about my online businesses but I thank God for my mentors, they were able to talk me out of those fears and showed me what to do.

I am currently reading Breakthrough Advertising.
What advice would you give to an upcoming youth or talents locally and internationally?
- My advice to upcoming youths is to be passionate and find what motivates them, because when you base your ideas off something you truly love, you'll be more focused.
- Also know your market, research your target market before starting that business you love.
- Get your finances in order, prepare to make sacrifices by intense level of dedication.
- Find a mentor that will bring knowledge and experience that will help you move forward and make smarter business decisions and see everything fall in place.
