Marina Lamptey, the Head of Diaspora Relations at the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), emerges as a trailblazer in international relations and executive strategy. Holding a BA in Psychology from the University of Ghana, an MA in International Relations from Brunel University, London, and a Graduate Diploma in Law from BPP University in Bristol, Marina brings a diverse educational background to her role.


With a diploma in Migration Management from Maastricht University and certifications from prestigious institutions like Harvard Business School, the London School of Economics, and the Said Business School at the University of Oxford, Marina has honed her skills in negotiation, leadership principles, and business development.

Passionate about women and girls' rights, Marina initiates change through her "Lean in Circle" initiative, aspiring to empower them to be the best version of themselves. As a strong advocate for diplomacy, she actively engages in international human rights, trade, and investments.


Marina's exceptional contributions have earned her notable honors and awards, including the Most Outstanding Female in International Relations by The Business Executive Ghana and recognition for organizing the Diaspora Connect Roadshow-Caribbean by NBG and Norbert Gordon Television. She has also been honored with the Excellence in Diaspora Affairs award by Women’s Choice Awards Africa.


In her current role at GIPC, Marina leads the Diaspora Investment Desk, where she coordinates and provides information to the diaspora community about investment opportunities in Ghana. With over three years of experience at GIPC, Marina has demonstrated expertise in social media, negotiation, business development, organization skills, presentations, and relationship building.
