After earning her Bachelor of Arts in Social Science from Makerere University, she began performing with the Theatre Factory, lighting up the stage and charming audiences in Uganda’s bustling capital of Kampala. Her journey in comedy truly took off when she joined Fun Factory, a group that redefined comedic performances in Uganda. Anne's early career was marked by her unforgettable performances on NTV Uganda's "Barbed Wire TV," which later became "U-Turn." But the real breakthrough came when she decided to take her talent online, posting hilarious sketches on YouTube. Her relatable content struck a chord with fans across Africa, and soon her videos were amassing millions of views. Citizen TV in Kenya noticed her growing influence and offered her a slot to produce, star, and present her very own show – "Don't Mess With Kansiime" – cementing her status as a household name.


Anne’s comedy draws from everyday experiences and personal life, making her work refreshingly original and deeply relatable. Whether performing live stand-up shows or appearing in packed venues from London to Lagos, her natural ability to connect with audiences shines through.
