After obtaining her BA degree in Management Studies from the University of Cape Coast in 2020, Gifty embarked on a fulfilling career in civil service. Armed with four years of experience, she navigates life's challenges with determination and a strong belief in her faith. Growing up amidst diverse neighborhoods like Bisease, Dansoman, Bubuashie, Airport Residential, and Kanda Estates, Gifty developed a unique perspective on life, shaped by the rich cultures and traditions of her surroundings. As the daughter of a trader, she inherited a natural knack for salesmanship.
In 2016, Gifty took a leap of faith and founded BODYSHOP_GH, initially focusing on Bodyshop products from the UK. Despite facing hurdles in sourcing suppliers, her entrepreneurial spirit persevered. In late 2019, a pivotal moment arose when her sister's request for lingerie costumes sparked a new direction for her business. Embracing the opportunity, Gifty expanded her offerings to include lingerie and bedroom essentials.
Transitioning from home-based operations to social media platforms like Instagram, and eventually to a physical store, Gifty's determination knows no bounds. Despite societal taboos surrounding the nature of her business, she remains steadfast in her vision to empower women and enhance beauty from within.
