Certified Retail & Wholesale Banker | Certified People Manager | Leadership Coach
Gertrude Kasei Kunde Kwallinjam is a seasoned business leader with a Certified Retail & Wholesale Banker (CRB) and Certified People Manager (CPM) designation, bringing over 16 years of expertise in banking and finance. As a Leadership Coach and Development Finance professional, she has demonstrated her commitment to excellence throughout her career. Currently serving as the Project Lead for Partial Credit Guarantee at Development Bank Ghana, Gertrude plays a pivotal role in supporting day-to-day operations, contributing to the setup team, and ensuring the successful execution of the PCG's mission. Her responsibilities include shaping the future growth of PCG, identifying innovative products, and improving risk management for Partner Financial Institutions (PFIs).
In her previous role as Senior Manager for Credit Origination & Execution at Development Bank Ghana, Gertrude successfully onboarded PFIs and key clients, developed wholesale lending products, and monitored portfolio performance, ensuring sustainable growth with minimal non-performing loans.
Prior to her tenure at Development Bank Ghana, Gertrude held key positions at Fidelity Bank Ghana, where she served as the Regional Sales and Service Manager for the Northern Sector. In this role, she oversaw the sales operations of nine branches across five regions, analyzed sales statistics, and managed the growth of the active customer account base.
As the Commercial Hub Manager, Gertrude demonstrated strategic thinking, planning, and relationship-building skills. She collaborated with key stakeholders, worked closely with branches, and ensured the achievement of overall strategic objectives for the Hub and Portfolio.
With a Bachelor in both Sociology and Psychology from the University of Ghana and a Commonwealth Executive MBA (CEMBA) in Business Administration and Management from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Gertrude combines her academic foundation with practical experience. She further enhanced her professional qualifications through certifications from The Retail Banking Academy® and the Harvard Manage Mentor Program.
