Gemann | Ghana & USA | Embrace Your Journey

Pastor | Songwriter | Entrepreneur | Publisher | Philanthropist

I am G' Love Nana Gemann, a pastor, songwriter, entrepreneur, publisher, and philanthropist hailing from the Eastern and Ashanti Regions of Ghana. I am the founder and president of New Life Christian Love Fellowship, CEO of G' Love Radio and GODsbiz TV (GTV) in New York City, and CEO of Godsbiz Charities Ghana. In my earlier days, I pursued a career in entertainment, showcasing my talents as a dancer, singer, and rapper. I even achieved recognition by winning a Michael Jackson lookalike competition in the USA. However, everything changed in January 1995 when I was involved in an incident that led to my imprisonment for 14 years. During my time in prison, I experienced a transformative spiritual journey and gave my life to Christ Jesus. This newfound faith inspired me to become a philanthropist, focusing on supporting the impoverished inmates through my charity work. It was in Nsawam prison that the vision for GODsbiz was born. Eventually, I was granted a pardon and released by the government. Following my release, I embarked on a path of redemption. I became a chaplain in New York, dedicating myself to religious volunteer work and teaching inmates at Rikers Island. Today, I proudly serve as the head pastor of New Life Christian Love Fellowship in Staten Island, New York. Additionally, I have penned an autobiography titled "From Fame to Shame," which recounts my journey. Through my charity, Godsbiz Charities Ghana, I strive to support prisoners, disadvantaged communities, orphans, and those less fortunate. Our initiatives focus on prevention, intervention, and spreading the love of God through practical actions. The pain and challenges I faced during my prison experience have deeply impacted me, fueling my passion for philanthropy and sharing God's love with those in need. I believe that my time behind bars was a divine opportunity for me to comprehend the struggles and necessities of prisoners, driving my unwavering dedication to support them.

What were the biggest initial hurdles you faced and how did you overcome them?

I faced significant hurdles in my life, especially during my time of imprisonment. The loss of my freedom, the damage to my reputation, and the missed opportunities created immense challenges for me.

However, in the midst of it all, I found redemption and strength through my unwavering faith in Christ Jesus. It was through His grace that I was able to turn my life around and become a philanthropist, dedicating myself to supporting prisoners and disadvantaged communities.

Embracing my spiritual journey was the key to overcoming the initial hurdles I faced. It gave me the courage and determination to transform my adversity into a powerful force for positive change. Instead of allowing my past mistakes to define me, I used them as stepping stones towards a brighter future.

Through my charity work and unwavering commitment to spreading God's love, I have been able to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others.I firmly believe that God allowed me to go through the trials of imprisonment so that I could better understand the struggles and needs of prisoners. It was a humbling experience that shaped my perspective and fueled my passion to support those who are still behind bars.

By channeling my pain into purpose, I have found fulfillment and a renewed sense of purpose in helping others overcome their own challenges. Though the initial hurdles were daunting, my faith and determination carried me through. I am grateful for the opportunity to turn my life around and use my experiences to make a positive difference in the world.
