Gabby Morrison | California | Stay Grounded

Actress | Dancer | Digital Content Creator

I was a normal high school student. I would go to school from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm and then go to dance from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. For about an hour in between school and dance I would have time to make a video. I loved rushing home and catching golden hour so I could make a video and dance online. Over a short period of time of consistently posting I amassed a following of over 1 million followers which is soon to become over 3.5 million followers.

What were the biggest initial hurdles and how did you overcome them?

One of the biggest initial hurdles was being looked at differently and sometimes hated on. Despite this, I still received so much love that I rarely focused on the hate. However, sometimes being viewed differently by family or peers makes it difficult to keep grasp of who I actually am.

Any advice to an upcoming youth or talents locally and internationally? My advice is to stay true to yourself. Make sure to stay in tune with what you have always loved doing. What has also helped to keep me grounded is staying in touch and as close as possible to the people who knew me before I started to gain a following. They know me best and keep me grounded always.
