Entrepreneur | Co-Founder & CEO - Shaping the way ideas are brought to life and sustained
Drayton Mulindabigwi isn’t just another name in the entrepreneurial world—he’s a catalyst for innovation, constantly pushing boundaries and transforming ideas into reality. As the Co-Founder and CEO of Citron, a groundbreaking tech startup aimed at supporting early-stage entrepreneurs as an "AI Co-Founder," Drayton is leading the charge in reshaping the future of tech. Although Citron is still in the development phase, with an official launch planned for Fall 2024, Drayton’s visionary leadership and strategic thinking are already setting the stage for something truly revolutionary.
But Citron is only one chapter in Drayton's story. He also serves as a Director at Mulindabigwi Inc., the family holding company focused on strategic asset management, business development, and long-term growth. His leadership and analytical prowess are vital in driving the company’s overarching vision forward.
Beyond these roles, Drayton wears the hat of Chairman and CEO of The Novas Group, an innovation management firm that has been thriving since September 2023. Under his direction, The Novas Group has been helping organizations and companies expand their innovation portfolios, with a focus on cutting-edge digital solutions, creative design, and e-commerce strategies that set new industry standards.
Before making waves in Ottawa’s innovation scene, Drayton founded 20today20tomorrow, a bold initiative that showcased his talent for design, creativity, and leadership. From January 2021 to April 2024, he led the organization through a journey of digital marketing, project coordination, and youth-focused initiatives. His expertise in public speaking, event planning, and social media has since made him a sought-after mentor for young entrepreneurs eager to chart their own paths.
Drayton’s rise to prominence was built on a series of formative experiences. As a Marcom Intern at Frayme, he sharpened his communication and marketing skills, excelling in a hybrid work environment. His passion for youth empowerment shone through his role as a Workshop Facilitator at Youth Net/Réseau Ado, where he developed facilitation and teamwork skills that left a lasting impact on the lives of young people. Even in academic settings, as a Research Assistant at the University of Ottawa and CHEO Research Institute, Drayton demonstrated his ability to balance rigorous research with hands-on project coordination, further enhancing his interpersonal and organizational expertise. Drayton Mulindabigwi is not just influencing the future—he’s defining it. His fearless entrepreneurial spirit, relentless drive, and passion for creating meaningful change are reflected in every role he takes on, from CEO to Chairman to innovator. The world better be ready—Drayton is just getting started.
