Delma Iris Ramirez’s journey began in the vibrant town of Brownsville, Texas, where the border between the United States and Mexico served as a backdrop for her upbringing. Proudly embracing her Mexican-American heritage, Delma was the first in her family to attend college, earning a degree in International Relations from Texas A&M University. With a heart set on making a meaningful impact in the world, her career path was nothing short of remarkable. Delma’s early curiosity for international politics and diplomacy ignited her interest in sustainability. Armed with knowledge and determination, she embarked on a dynamic journey that saw her working with companies and teams worldwide. Her passion for sustainability and innovation soon led her to envision a world where technology could be harnessed to create a cleaner, greener future. Delma’s career took off in a whirlwind of achievements. From her role as a Principal Sustainability and ESG Consultant at Avetta, she helped multinational companies measure their environmental impact and streamline their sustainability strategies. With a knack for simplifying complex data, Delma crafted impactful reports that shaped the future of global supply chains. She led teams in assessing and mitigating risks, consulting with Fortune 500 companies, and even crafting a groundbreaking white paper in collaboration with MIT.


In every role, Delma found a way to inspire change. Whether as an Operations Manager for ampUz or leading sustainability initiatives at 17 Asset Management, her focus on environmental and social governance (ESG) was unwavering. She wasn’t just crunching numbers—she was shaping the future. Her efforts were not just about meeting corporate goals; they were about driving systemic change, aligning business objectives with global sustainability standards like the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).


Through it all, Delma understood that sustainability was more than just a corporate trend—it was the future of responsible business. She knew how to dig deep, analyze data, and extract valuable insights to help companies across the globe make the shift to green energy, responsible investments, and ethical operations. She transformed the businesses she worked with, ensuring that impact measurement wasn’t just about profits, but also about people and the planet.


Her role as a B Impact Fellow was a testament to her drive to shape businesses into forces for good. She assessed and advised companies seeking B Corp certification, guiding them through rigorous standards to ensure that their impact on the world was truly positive. Delma was instrumental in helping these companies—ranging from emerging markets to developed economies—create better futures for their stakeholders, employees, and customers. Yet, Delma’s real legacy began in March 2023, when she founded NoHarm, a climate tech marketplace designed to empower businesses to combat climate change. NoHarm was born out of Delma’s belief that technology, innovation, and sustainability could work hand in hand to create a world where businesses are not just sustainable, but also champions of environmental justice.


As the CEO and Founder of NoHarm, Delma built a company that uses cutting-edge technology to help organizations reduce their carbon footprint and optimize their operations for sustainability.
