Darasing Khurana’s journey from a small-town boy in Parbhani to an international icon is nothing short of inspiring. Born with big dreams of living in a bustling city, Darasing didn’t just aspire for a glamorous life—he worked tirelessly to make it happen. His story isn’t just about fame, but about making a lasting impact on the world. From the beginning, Darasing showed promise. At 14, he won the title of Mr. Parbhani, a small but significant step toward what would later become a life of tremendous achievements. His move to Pune and Mumbai for higher education led him to complete an MBA from the prestigious Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), setting the foundation for a future full of ambition. But his real break came when, while still studying, Darasing took on a role as an assistant stylist for Bollywood’s finest. Soon, stars like Hrithik Roshan, Siddharth Malhotra, and Vidyut Jammwal were his clients.

It was Hrithik Roshan himself who pushed Darasing toward his true calling. After styling the actor for the 2016 Mr. India event, Hrithik encouraged him to compete in it. With the words still fresh in his mind, Darasing applied and won the title of Mr. India 2017, a victory that catapulted him into the international spotlight. The win wasn’t just about fame; it was the launchpad for an impressive career filled with modeling, acting, and philanthropic work.

Darasing’s rise to fame was impressive, but his passion for helping others truly set him apart. When the nation was rocked by the tragic death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Darasing was deeply affected. The loss of his friend sparked a fire within him to make mental health care accessible to all. He founded Pause.Breathe.Talk., an initiative offering affordable therapy sessions. His dedication to helping others didn’t stop there. He became the brand ambassador for Datri, a blood stem cell donor organization, and supported Punar Janm, an NGO that took up the education of children who lost their parents to Covid-19.

Throughout his career, Darasing has been honored with numerous awards, including the Lions Gold Award for Philanthropist of the Year 2022 and the Global Peace Ambassador title in 2021. But he didn’t just sit back and enjoy his success. When the world slowed down during the pandemic, Darasing sped up. He launched his digital marketing firm, DSK Consultants, which quickly attracted international clients. He also started a construction project in his hometown and made his film debut in the Punjabi movie Bai Ji Kuttange alongside Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu.

Darasing's ability to juggle multiple roles—model, actor, entrepreneur, and philanthropist—speaks to his boundless energy and curiosity. When things get monotonous, he finds ways to switch things up. “I’ve always been a free bird,” he says, embracing every new opportunity that comes his way. Whether it's traveling to over 40 countries as a self-confessed foodie or hosting prestigious events like the Stardust Awards and the Governor Awards, Darasing's adventures are endless.

Despite his packed schedule, Darasing’s heart remains with the people he helps. His work with Pause.Breathe.Talk. and Datri are constant reminders of his desire to touch lives. In his role as the Commonwealth Year of Youth Champion, he continues to advocate for youth development and empowerment across 56 nations, inspiring young people to find their purpose and take action. In every corner of his life, Darasing Khurana proves that success isn't just about personal achievement—it's about lifting others up. As he puts it, "There’s no greater joy than knowing you’ve changed someone’s life. That’s the real success." From his small-town roots to global recognition, Darasing’s story is one of perseverance, heart, and a deep commitment to making the world a better place.
