But it wasn’t just about mastering the craft—it was about finding his culinary identity, one that would eventually lead him to the heart of African cuisine. A pivotal moment in Joseph’s career came when he earned a certificate from the Ghana Chef’s Association (GCA). This recognition fueled his determination and opened doors to new opportunities. But perhaps the most significant influence on his journey was the mentorship of Chef Joe Wistle, a legendary figure in Ghana’s culinary scene. Under Chef Wistle’s guidance, Joseph’s love for African traditional cuisine blossomed, sparking his desire to showcase the bold and vibrant flavors of his heritage.
