Meet Abiola Bawuah, a trailblazer and a driving force in the banking industry, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of UBA Africa. The introduction of over 60 Visa, Verve, and Mastercard-enabled ATMs across various cities further attests to her commitment to enhancing banking accessibility.
Her excellence extends beyond Ghana; as Regional CEO, West Africa, she played a pivotal role in overseeing UBA's subsidiaries in nine countries, driving strategic business growth and operational efficiency. Abiola's impressive academic background includes a BSc in Actuarial Science from the University of Lagos, an LLB with honors from the University of London, and an Executive MBA in Finance from the University of Ghana. She has also garnered leadership qualifications from prestigious institutions such as Harvard Business School, Columbia, University of New York, INSEAD, and Institut Villa Pierrefeu in Switzerland.
