I started in the talent and modelling industry when I was 15 years old and craved to learn every aspect of it. By the time I was 24 I was tired of everyone asking for my advice so I decided everyone needed to pay for my advice. I started consulting smaller agencies and ended up buying one of the companies. At the beginning I decided to buy the company to clean up it reputation and turn a failing company around as a goal and to take care of everyone who was a part of it because I wanted to see everyone succeed.
What has been your greatest moment of success?
I was a single mom when I became an entrepreneur, so I think it was the moment I was able to pay off all of my loans to buy and start the company.
What do you do to recharge when you’re feeling drained?
I typically will meditate and do a power walk on a daily basis for the start of my day. However, I also search and study a lot of material that Tony Robbins, Marie Forleo, Richard Branson, Tim Ferris and other Silicon Valley gurus put out to keep my mind open and makes me think about what I can do next for the company.
How do you approach marketing your business?
Social media is a big tool for marketing in my industry, however I still believe in face to face meetings and beautiful marketing material. I am almost always out approaching or following up in person.
How do you believe evolving technology will impact the way you do business over the next 10 years?
I am sure it will impact it immensely as it already has, but I just can't pinpoint where it will go next. It's a big mystery and something that I am always trying to figure out.
Who is your hero and why?
I really don't think I have a hero. I however definitely have a respect in watching those who succeed and give back.
What advice would you give to an upcoming young and old entrepreneur locally and internationally?
Once you find what you love, do it! In order to succeed you must have discipline! That's really it. If you can wake up everyday and do what needs to be done whether you like it or not and push forward you are more likely to succeed.
